We are excited to announce that Park City, Utah is officially becoming a City of Kindness! Their journey begins today as they kick off their ‘26 Days of Gratitude’ kindness campaign.
Park City of Kindness was founded by Park City Leadership, an organization “intended to identify, encourage, and train a group of emerging community leaders.” Inspired by the kindness movement that has been taking place globally, Park City Leadership Class 26 decided to get on board and do their part by encouraging and supporting kindness in their community, stating, “We believe kindness and how we treat each other is of utmost priority and should be valued as such.”
The Park City of Kindness website was created to provide a resource to learn, promote, and share acts of kindness throughout the community. The leadership team believes that “keeping kindness on the forefront of our minds, will advance the social good and create a meaningful difference in our world for years to come.”
In an effort to keep the inspiration flowing, Park City of Kindness has created social channels for the project, encouraging leadership and community members to engage and share their stories of kindness. Their Facebook page is already full of good news to keep you motivated and smiling, including stories of locals giving blood and painting signs and sidewalks during the current COVID-19 health crisis.
